Malaysia's "AirAsia X" airline has obtained permission to operate regular flights to Uzbekistan.

A total of 5 flights are operated weekly on the Tashkent – Kuala Lumpur route.

According to the Ministry of Transport, based on the intergovernmental Agreement on Air Services between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State of Malaysia, the “Uzaviation” Agency has officially issued a permit for "Air Asia X Berhad" airline to operate regular flights on the Kuala Lumpur – Tashkent – Kuala Lumpur route starting from February 3, 2025, as announced.

We would like to remind you that currently, regular flights between the two countries are operated by "Uzbekistan Airways" JSC (on Wednesdays and Sundays) and "Batik Air" (on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays) on the Tashkent – Kuala Lumpur route, with a total of 5 flights per week. Furthermore, in 2024, a total of 49,749 passengers were transported between Uzbekistan and Malaysia.
