The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited the "As-Salam" palace-museum in the city of Al-Kuwait. The President's press service reported this. 

The palace was built in 1960-1964 in a distinctive Arab architectural style and served as the official residence for foreign leaders visiting Kuwait until 1990.

In 2019, a museum was opened in the palace, displaying unique exhibits that reflect the centuries-old history and culture of Kuwait over an area of 32,000 square meters.

The head of our state familiarized himself with the museum's exposition and highly appreciated its architectural concept and modern infrastructure.

The importance of expanding cultural exchanges between Uzbekistan and Kuwait, particularly in museum operations and preserving historical heritage, implementing joint humanitarian programs, and organizing mutual exhibitions, was noted.

In conclusion, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, left an autograph in the museum's Honorary Guests book.
