The police officers in Nurabad district of Samarkand region rescued a newborn who was born in a toilet and fell into the hole. This was reported by MY5 TV channel.

According to the report, the mother did not realize she was pregnant with her fifth child and had gone to see a doctor complaining about her health. Then, when she went to the toilet, she gave birth and, in a weakened state, accidentally dropped her baby into the toilet hole. One of the doctors, hearing the baby's cries, asked for help from the prevention inspectors of the local police department.

The police officers dug a hole next to the toilet to retrieve him. The baby remained stuck there for 2 hours. Finally, after much effort, he was rescued.

"As we dug the pit, the sound of the baby was getting fainter. Then all the officers dug together, because the ground was hard due to the mountainous terrain. All officers were ready to enter, but since the pit was a bit small, I went in. The baby was lying on its side, his legs and arms had stopped moving. We pulled him out and immediately handed him to the nurses for first aid," said prevention inspector Sardor Safarov.

The child was brought to the district central hospital on March 1. It is emphasized that his condition is satisfactory and he is being cared for in a special intensive care unit under constant supervision of the doctors.

"When the child arrived, he was very cold. Now, his condition is much better. His mother is also feeling well, answering our questions well," said doctor Farmon Qushmuradov.

"I truly didn't know I was pregnant. I didn’t feel any movement, nor did I have any morning sickness. I hadn't gone to the clinic before this, nor did I have any suspicion I was carrying, I've been jumping around the mountains like a deer. I gave birth to a 3.7 kg baby, not less. Can you believe I didn’t know?" the woman wondered.

It is noted that they plan to name the baby after the police officer who rescued him.
