A video showing a citizen falling to the ground after being physically assaulted by another citizen is spreading on social networks, causing various discussions. The Tashkent city police department has clarified the situation.
It was found that on March 16, around 02:30 AM, in a restaurant located in the Yakkasaray district, a customer born in 1995, A.S., got into a conflict with an acquaintance born in 1985, H.A., leading to a brawl. B.A., born in 1990, attempted to separate them when A.S. hit him, causing physical injuries.
As a result, B.A. was taken to the hospital with a diagnosis of "cranial injury, a tear wound on the right side of the face, and alcohol poisoning."
In connection with this incident, the Investigation Department of the Yakkasaray district's Internal Affairs Division has initiated a criminal case under Article 277 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan ("Hooliganism"). Investigative actions are continuing. A legal decision will be ensured upon conclusion.
