The Navruz celebration took place in the “New Uzbekistan” park in Tashkent city on March 21st. The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, gave a speech and congratulated our people on the holiday in a heartfelt manner.

This year's Navruz, coinciding with the sacred month of Ramadan and its blessed virtues, adds a special spirit, unique charm, and joy to the holiday. In these blessed days filled with happiness, we once again congratulate our country's Muslim community and the entire Muslim ummah on the occasion of Ramadan, wishing all our pure intentions come true, – said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Our state leader also congratulated our compatriots living abroad with love and longing for the homeland, expressing his sincere wishes.

Navruz has always stood out for its unique spiritual significance in the 3,000-year history of our statehood as a great holiday. Its unparalleled beauty, spirit of humanism, and profound philosophy continue to astonish all of humanity even in the era of globalization, testifying to its eternal essence and life-giving force.

The spirit of creativity embodied in Navruz is in tune with the essence and lofty ideas of the significant reforms and rapid changes being implemented in our New Uzbekistan. Firm steps are being taken in our country to elevate human dignity, strengthen the principles of social justice, and improve the income and living standards of the population.

Many modern industrial complexes, infrastructure and logistics networks, new buildings and houses, kindergartens and schools, universities, hospitals, cultural and sports facilities are being established in our country. Our cities and villages, our whole country, are becoming more prosperous.

The “Green Space” national project is creating a new ecological environment in our land. Within the framework of the “Environmental Protection and “Green” Economy Year” state program, this process is gaining even broader scope.

In his speech, our President also focused on youth policy, highlighting that young people are becoming the leading and powerful force of New Uzbekistan. He honored intelligent, knowledgeable, skilled, diligent, and entrepreneurial young men and women, who are achieving great results and enhancing our country's development and reputation.

My dear children, the time has come for you to shine brightly in the sky of our Motherland. Strive ceaselessly to turn the unparalleled opportunities in our country into practical results! Never forget that nearly 38 million great people and the President stand behind you, – said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The appeal and charm of Navruz, especially visible in the folk festivals taking place in neighborhoods, highlight the increasing importance and impact of the mahalla system, the cradle of our national traditions in our lives. Issues of youth education, peacekeeping, poverty reduction, involving the population in entrepreneurship, social protection, and enhancing the activity of women and ecological improvement, and prosperity are being addressed at the community level.

Taking the opportunity, the head of our state sincerely congratulated all community activists on March 22nd – the Day of the Mahalla System Workers.

Navruz, with its spirit of generosity and harmony, has become a favorite, truly national holiday for all ethnic groups and nationals living in our country. In this regard, our President addressed the entire nation:

– Our strength lies in unity and harmony, our power in love and loyalty to the Motherland, our success in our high confidence in ourselves!

Due to its universal nature, Navruz has been recognized as an international holiday by the United Nations Organization. This value further solidifies the unity among many peoples in the East, including the peoples of Central Asia. At the end of this month, a trilateral meeting of the leaders of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan in the ancient city of Khujand will be another practical step towards mutual harmony.

The head of our state congratulated the ambassadors and representatives of international organizations participating in the holiday on the international day of Navruz, sending them greetings of friendship to their peoples.

The holiday continued with a grand concert program. It was noteworthy that renowned singers from brotherly countries such as Turkey, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan also participated, along with artists from our country.

The “New Uzbekistan” park was enveloped in the festive atmosphere. The areas were decorated with colorful flowers and flags. The exhibitions at the national culture centers displayed the harmony and rich cultural diversity in our country.

The head of our state visited these exhibitions and watched the performances of folklore-ethnographic groups.

Navruz celebrations are continuing in all corners of our country. Farmers are sowing blessed seeds in the hope of our people's sustenance. Community beautification, kindness, and charity events are being held in neighborhoods.
