A resident of the Samarkand district of the Samarkand region was detained for storing drugs and counterfeit money in his apartment. This was reported by the press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs.
It is noted that in the house of a 55-year-old citizen living in the "Nurafshon" neighborhood, a narcotic substance was found buried in his yard and put in matchboxes. It was also revealed that there were 14.5 million soums of counterfeit money in cellophane pieces.
"Then the drugs and counterfeit money were documented in the presence of witnesses. "Currently, the Department of Internal Affairs is carrying out additional operational-search measures," the message says.
