In the frame of fighting against corruption, the illegal activities of the deputy head of the Tashkent city Emergency Situations Department were exposed during the operational-search activities conducted by the State Security Service. The State Security Service reported this to darakcgi.uz.
In particular, this official abused his position by regularly accepting bribes in return for approving the preliminary design of buildings planned to be constructed in Tashkent city, signing the protocols for automatic fire alarm systems, and giving positive conclusions for the state commission to accept newly constructed or reconstructed buildings for use.
The most regrettable fact is that among these buildings are general education schools and medical institution buildings.
A criminal case has been initiated against this person under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and a measure of restraint in the form of detention has been applied.
Preliminary investigation actions are being carried out.
