On April 3-4, the first "Central Asia - European Union" summit will be held in the city of Samarkand. This was reported by the President's press service here.
The summit, chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will see participation from the President of the European Council Antonio Costa, the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, and the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
