A passenger plane belonging to Pegasus Airlines flying from Istanbul to Bodrum in Turkey landed safely despite being struck by lightning, reports "Zamon.uz".

The plane, originally planned to land at Milas airport in Bodrum, had to change its course and make a landing at Dalaman airport in the Aegean region due to adverse weather conditions.

According to reports, after the weather conditions improved, the plane made another flight towards Bodrum. However, during the flight, an unexpected event occurred — the plane was hit by lightning. Although the incident was alarming for passengers on board, no one was harmed.

The plane eventually landed in Bodrum without any problems. Inspections carried out by technical experts revealed no serious faults in the aircraft. The event sparked wide discussions on Turkish social media, with many admiring the alertness of the pilots and crew members and the technical reliability of the airplane.
