On April 13 of this year, a pedestrian was fatally struck by a HOWO truck in the Bektemir district of Tashkent, according to the press service of the Tashkent City Traffic Safety Department.
The incident occurred around 10:00 PM on Khanabad Street. A HOWO truck hit a pedestrian born in 1969 who was crossing the road at an undesignated location.
As a result of the accident, the pedestrian died at the scene due to injuries sustained.
The Investigation Department of the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department has launched a criminal case under Article 266, Part 2 of the Criminal Code. The investigation is ongoing.
