The car accident occurred in the Uchqo'rg'on district of Namangan region. A Spark model vehicle was driven by a 16-year-old girl who was underage and did not possess a driver's license.
According to the Press Service of the Regional Traffic Safety Department, it was reported that in place of the driver sat the girl, while she took the front seat herself. In the back seat were her mother and her 10-year-old sister.
While the underage girl was driving, she lost control of the steering wheel due to inexperience at a dangerous turn on the road, veering to the right and consequently falling into the Andijan canal flowing on the right side of the road.
As a result of the incident, the mother and the young girl sitting in the back seat died due to drowning.
The underage girl driving the car and her father were hospitalized with physical injuries.
