A girl who lost her parents in Turkey was returned to Uzbekistan.

A minor girl left without parental care in Turkey has been returned to Uzbekistan. This was reported by the National Agency for Social Protection. 

It is noted that, based on the information received by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Turkey, measures have been initiated to return a minor girl left without parental care abroad to her homeland.

Thanks to the efforts of the Family and Women's Committee and the embassy, the girl was welcomed on April 15th at Tashkent International Airport by officials.

"Currently, the girl is temporarily placed in the Tashkent Center for Social and Legal Assistance to Minors. Until an alternative form of accommodation is determined, the necessary social and legal assistance is planned to be provided to the girl in this center," the message says.

It was also added that measures are being taken to return children brought to the family environment at the "Inson" social service centers at the place of permanent registration of minors.
