The Agency for Cultural Heritage held an extraordinary meeting of the Scientific-Expert Council on April 9, where restoration projects for several historical objects within the Hazrati Imam (Hastimom) complex were discussed. This was reported by the agency's press service.
Additionally, the council members unanimously approved the presented restoration projects for the Abu Bakr Kaffal Shashi mausoleum located on Zarkaynar street, the Barakhan and Mo'i Muborak madrasahs, the Namazgoh and Tillashaykh mosques.
The projects guarantee that no damage will be caused to the monuments and the foundation will be reinforced using a special Muslim brick — baked in a kiln with dimensions of 250×250×50.
The execution and supervision of these works have been entrusted to the Tashkent city department of the Agency for Cultural Heritage and the "Scientific Research Institute of Cultural Heritage" state institution.
Furthermore, the Council has also approved projects for the renovation of the Qiziltepa historical museum in Navoi region and the construction of a mausoleum and auxiliary buildings at the Manak ata shrine located in the Khodjaabad district of Andijan region.
