On April 13, 2025, four Uzbek citizens were found dead in a multi-story building on Gagarin Street in Kaliningrad, Russia. This was reported by the "Kaskad" publication.

It turned out that investigators did not find any signs of a crime in their death. Less than a month ago, four people from Uzbekistan moved into apartment No. 5 in building No. 22 on Gagarin Street. They left Uzbekistan for Kaliningrad to earn money.

After the bodies of the deceased were taken out, the door of the house was locked. Investigators also questioned the neighbors. They reported that the deceased Uzbeks rarely came home and worked a lot.

"They were good people. Every morning he left at half past eight and returned around nine in the evening. I only heard the door slamming, and she was very calm," recalls a neighbor named Lyudmila.

According to preliminary data, the cause of their death was carbon monoxide poisoning. According to the regional investigative committee, the gas equipment in the rented apartment was serviced incorrectly.

"The regional prosecutor's office is also overseeing the investigation. The owner of the apartment may be responsible for their death. "The maximum sentence under the article in which the case was opened is several years of imprisonment," said the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Senior Yo.
