According to the information provided by the Hydrometeorological Service Agency, due to the expected rainfall on April 19-22 of this year, in the foothill and mountainous areas of the republic, including:
- Qashqadaryo region: Yakkabog, Dehqonobod, Chiroqchi, Kitab, Shahrisabz, Qamashi, Ghuzor districts;
- Surxondaryo region: Sariosiyo, Uzun, Oltinsoy, Denov, Boysun, Sherobod, Shurchi, Qumqurgon, Muzrabot districts;
- Samarqand region: Urgut, Samarqand, Bulungur, Nurobod, Qo'shrabot, Kattaqurgon, Payariq, Jombay, Ishtixon districts;
- Jizzakh region: Zomin, Bakhmal, Gallaorol, Sharof Rashidov, Forish, Yangiobod districts;
- Tashkent region: Ohangaron, Bostanliq, Parkent, Piskent, Urtachirchiq, Yukorichirchiq districts and the cities of Angren, Olmaliq;
- Namangan region: Pop, Kosonsoy, Chortoq, Chust, Namangan, Yangiqurgon districts;
- Fergana region: Sokh, Shohimardon, Fergana, Beshariq districts;
- Andijan region: Andijan, Asaka, Jalakuduk, Qurgontepa, Paxtaobod, Izbaskan, Xo'jaobod, Marhamat districts and the city of Khanabad may experience mudslide and flood incidents.
Residents, vacationers, and drivers moving through the foothill and mountainous areas are asked to take precautionary measures.
There is a possibility of rainwater accumulation across the republic's territory, which can lead to flooding of areas.
