The decision of the governor of Tashkent region to reduce the speed of cars outside certain residential areas has been adopted.

It is noted that this is aimed at preventing road traffic accidents on the roads in the regions and reducing the speed of cars outside certain residential areas.

The governor's decision approved the proposal of the Tashkent region Traffic Safety Department to reduce the speed of cars from 100 kilometers per hour to 80 kilometers per hour on 37 road sections located outside certain residential areas in the region's territory.

The Regional Road Administration is tasked with installing 3.24 "maximum speed limit" road signs in compliance with current requirements on public roads located outside the areas where the speed of vehicles is being reduced, within five days.

The Regional Traffic Safety Department is personally designated responsible for monitoring the movement of vehicles at reduced speeds outside the residential areas where speed is limited.
