According to the "roadmap" for implementing Uzbekistan's National Strategy on Human Rights up to 2030, special programs will be implemented to support and encourage the promotion of female lawyers in judicial system ranks and the development of their professional skills.
Information campaigns will be conducted to raise awareness among women about the role of female legal professionals in society and the possibilities of appointing women to judicial positions in the court system.
As a result, the share of women in judicial positions within the court system in Uzbekistan will increase and the principle of gender equality in this field will be further improved.
Plans include further perfection of the judicial system, enhancing the status of the judiciary, and ensuring the independence of the judiciary in accordance with the recommendations of the UN charter bodies, contractual committees, and international standards.
Based on international standards related to fair justice, draft laws on "Bodies of the Judges' Community" and "Status of Judges" will be developed.
The draft laws will be submitted to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis in the prescribed manner.
