Today, April 23, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived in Uzbekistan. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan announced this on his Telegram page.
"We are pleased to welcome Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Samarkand. We plan to hold meaningful negotiations covering a wide range of issues on our bilateral and multilateral agenda," Saidov wrote.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan also added that Uzbekistan is ready to carry out comprehensive cooperation with Russia.
"We strive to further develop comprehensive cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia for the benefit of our peoples," the minister said.
