On April 4, 2025, an open field court session was held regarding an incident of violence between a teacher and a student at the “Mudarris” private school located in the Sirgali district of Tashkent city. The Tashkent city court reported this to darakchi.uz.
It was found that the school's teacher, T.A., hit student A. on the head and chest area. These actions resulted in the student sustaining minor injuries. Participants of the incident — the student, his father, a doctor, and the teacher themselves attended the court in person and gave their statements.
Based on the medical examination report, witness interrogations, and documents, the court found the teacher guilty and imposed a fine of 1,500,000 UZS on him, in accordance with Part 2 of Article 52 of the Administrative Responsibility Code.
As emphasized by the court, the teacher abused their professional responsibilities and allowed the violation of the law by using physical force against the student.
This incident once again demonstrates how important the safety of children and the responsibility of teachers in educational institutions are.
