The incident occurred around 8:00 PM on Rudakiy Street in the "Nurli Yo'l" neighborhood.
A Lacetti, driven by a citizen born in 1997, hit citizens crossing the road at the pedestrian crossing.
As a result of the accident, several pedestrians received injuries of varying degrees and were immediately taken to the hospital. They were provided with primary medical care by doctors.
On this fact, the Investigative Department under the Criminal Investigation Department of the Internal Affairs Directorate for the city of Samarkand initiated a criminal case under part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
A preventive measure of "detention" was applied to the driver.
