The US Supreme Court authorized the expulsion of the "translude" from the army. The decision was adopted by 6 conservative judges, 3 judges voted against it.

White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt called the decision a "great victory for the government." However, human rights activists criticized this. According to them, the "trans employees" have proven their loyalty.

Experts believe the new restriction could affect thousands of military personnel.

Earlier, Trump signed a decree banning transgender people from serving in the army. It assessed gender change as contrary to military discipline and honesty.

Only those who have proven their military worth and haven't changed sex in the last 36 months are allowed to remain in the army.
