Dear children!
First of all, I sincerely congratulate you, my dears, on the unforgettable joyful event in your life today – successfully completing your school education, receiving your maturity certificate, and stepping into independent life. I congratulate you.
In this glorious moment, in more than 10,000 schools across our country, with the participation of kind teachers, and respected parents, “last bell” ceremonies are ringing, and good wishes are being expressed for more than 450,000 graduating young people.
With genuine agreement on these thoughts, we wish our sons and daughters, who are planning their future with great hopes and aspirations, immense strength, luck, and victories in achieving them.
In particular, we express our special congratulations and wishes to more than 11,500 of our children graduating with a gold medal, and to more than 2,000 silver medal holders, for always being exemplary and inspiring their peers in their studies, research, and public activities.
Dear graduating youth!
Today, in achieving the great goals we set for ourselves, we rely on our educated, skilled, entrepreneurial, and patriotic young people, who are well-rounded in every aspect, just like the rest of our people.
We are creating the necessary conditions for the new generation who will be the owners of our future to participate as a major constructive force in building the New Uzbekistan. This includes offering modern knowledge and vocations, foreign languages along with the mother tongue, IT, and innovative technologies, and mastering the fields of creativity and entrepreneurship. Currently, 201 higher educational institutions, 598 technical schools, numerous mono centers, and technoparks, libraries, cultural, art, and sports facilities are actively operating for you.
Efforts to improve the quality and effectiveness of education and training in all branches of education and to expand the choices available to our graduating youth are being made by launching new systems and programs, and electronic platforms.
You are wisely using these unparalleled opportunities to cherish every golden moment of the springtime of youth and to become highly qualified professionals, conscious and noble individuals who will boldly defend the independence of our Homeland, and the interests of our people in all spheres, I believe.
Never forget, for a human being to find a worthy place in life, to earn the respect and attention of the nation, it is necessary to embrace national and universal values, to constantly strive forward in life, to explore and to never stop learning.
Honest and hard work, dedication to science, profession, parents, and family, undoubtedly, elevates a person, making his life prosperous and enlightening.
Especially for young people like you, full of vigor and enthusiasm, it is fitting to take lessons from the rapid pace of our times, achieve results every day, temper your will in trials, and always move forward.
I am confident that your new ideas and initiatives, your achievements in various fields, will make an invaluable contribution to establishing the material and spiritual foundations that will further strengthen the New Uzbekistan.
