US President Donald Trump made a "beneficial" proposal to Canada. This was reported by DW.

"If you're the 51st state, you'll get our 'golden dome' missile defense system for free!" Trump said.

The fact is that Canada has become very interested in the US's "Golden Dome" PVO system, which has not yet progressed beyond the project. The cost of the system is $61 billion.

But Trump wrote about this on his social network:

"If they are our staff, this system will be free. They are seriously considering this proposal!"

Meanwhile, in Canada, the British King Charles III delivered a solemn speech in parliament and was welcomed as an official guest.

Notably, he was invited to the country by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. He ranks first on the list of those who dislike Trump.

Carney later said in an interview with CBC:

"I hope that by July 1, we will join the new European military program ReArm Europe."

This will reduce Canada's dependence on US weapons and ammunition. Trump is naturally dissatisfied with such statements.
