The German company Deutsche Aircraft presented a new passenger aircraft - the D328eco model, the first of its kind developed in the country in the last 20 years.
Production of the new airliner is scheduled to begin in 2026. The aircraft will be assembled in Leipzig.
The "D328eco" model was created on the basis of the previously existing "Dornier 328" aircraft, designed for short-haul flights.
The aircraft will be equipped with a modern, economical turboprop engine compatible with the bioturbine. It has seats for up to 40 passengers.
In addition, this aircraft can be used in other areas, such as cargo transportation, evacuation of military personnel, medical evacuation, and border security.
