As part of his visit to Moscow, the presidential aide held a meeting with Valentina Matviyenko, Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia. Saida Mirziyoyeva announced this on her social media page.
It is noted that the representatives of the two countries discussed issues of developing cultural and humanitarian dialogue and supporting public initiatives, which is an important area of Uzbek-Russian relations.
Special attention was also paid to projects in the fields of education and culture. It was noted that assistance in opening new branches of Russian higher educational institutions, joint programs for youth, as well as initiatives in the field of culture, serve to strengthen friendship between the countries.
Special attention was paid to the implementation of social projects aimed at supporting veterans and children. We expressed a unanimous opinion that cultural dialogue and humanitarian exchange remain an important basis of bilateral relations," Mirziyoyeva wrote.
