The Prime Minister of Great Britain, Keir Starmer, emphasized the necessity of preparing the country's army for future wars. He writes about this in “The Sun”.

“We are directly threatened by nations with advanced military forces. Therefore, we need to be ready to fight and win,” says Starmer.

According to him, London plans to invest in the armed forces, aiming to make them “even more synchronized, combat-ready, and stronger” than they are now.

Today, June 2nd, the British government is expected to officially announce the allocation of an additional 1.8 billion euros for the construction of at least six military plants and the production of up to 7,000 long-range weapons.

The country's Defense Minister, John Healey, mentioned Russia and China as the main threats in an interview with the “BBC” publication.

According to him, for example, the plant producing “Storm Shadow” cruise missiles in Stevenage will not only boost military capabilities but also create jobs across Great Britain.
