A video depicting a fight among girls spread across social networks, stating that the incident took place on April 29th this year at school number 83 located in the Pastdargom district of Samarkand region. Reports also claimed that the school director handed the students over to the perpetrators who had come asking for them. The Samarkand Regional Department of Internal Affairs issued an official statement on this matter.
It was noted that on April 29th of this year, on a road passing through the Qushquduq neighborhood in the Pastdargom district as well as in the territory of the 83rd general education school of the district, a citizen named E.B., born in 2007 and residing in Samarkand, intentionally disregarding public behavior norms, inflicted bodily harm on the students of the 11th grade of this school.
In relation to this incident, a criminal case has been initiated against the 18-year-old citizen E.B. under part 3 of Article 277 (Hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan by the Investigation Department of the Internal Affairs Bureau of Pastdargom district. Preliminary investigation actions are currently being conducted.
At this time, there has been no clear information provided whether the school director indeed brought the female students out to the attacker or not.
