“CASE-IN” International Engineering Championship's “Metallurgy” category brought two special awards to the team of students from the “MISIS” branch in Olmaliq: “best video visit card” and for the “advanced solution” to the problem.
In the 2025 season, over 1500 students and schoolchildren from dozens of countries across the BRICS and CIS participated. The finals and semi-final stages held in May were successfully passed by more than 600 participants. In the “Metallurgy” category, the Uzbekistan students' league proudly secured the third place.
The “CASE-IN” international engineering championship is the largest system of engineering competitions started in 2013, encompassing school students, university students, and young professionals from CIS and BRICS countries.
The final task demanded high-level engineering preparation, teamwork, and innovative thinking from the teams.
The representatives of Uzbekistan earned the judges' recognition by showcasing reliable knowledge, practical solutions, and vibrant presentations. The traditional skullcaps worn by the team members also underscored the unique participation atmosphere, turning it into an unforgettable cultural accent of the finals. As one of the organizing committee members jokingly pointed out: "These skullcaps definitely deserve a solid 5!"
