The intense changes in the global information space, the development of social networks and artificial intelligence, and the flow of fake news demand completely new approaches from media representatives.

With this aim, the largest and most important educational-practical project of the year in our republic—"Media Week," which unites journalists, bloggers, and press secretaries on a single platform—has commenced its work.

This project, launched by the Content Center in collaboration with partner organizations, will cover nearly 12.5 thousand participants from across the republic. From March 30th to June 26th of the current year, intensive five-day training seminars and skill-building sessions are planned to be held in each region.

Theory and practice merge in the program: the main focus is directed towards gaining real experience. Trainings on important topics such as content creation, fact-checking, digital hygiene, SMM, and strategic communications will be conducted with the participation of the country's leading media experts, editors, and producers.

The sessions will be conducted in separate tracks for TV journalists, print publications, bloggers, and press secretaries of state bodies. Participants who enhance their knowledge will be awarded special certificates.

The first stage of this mobile media relay across Uzbekistan will begin on March 30th in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. During the sessions, participants will have the opportunity to work based on real cases, analyze mistakes, and form new approaches. Speakers will share their experiences and provide recommendations on the key directions of modern media development.

At the end of the week, a large-scale Media Forum covering industry representatives in the region will be organized.

Candidates wishing to participate in the project can apply to the regional administrations and departments of the Youth Affairs Agency.
