State civil servants must adhere to the established rules of conduct in their activities. According to the law, failure to follow these rules – leads to ethical and disciplinary sanctions .

In accordance with the regulations, if a public servant's behavior is contrary to established standards, the Ethics Commission can take the following measures:

  • Warning issuance

  • Apologizing or demanding an official letter of apology

  • Reprimand – public criticism at the collegial meeting of the state body

At the same time, the commission can, if necessary, submit an official proposal to the organization's head for disciplinary action against the servant.
