At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, Robert Fico, will be visiting our country on an official visit from 8-10 June.
In accordance with the visit program, high-level negotiations will take place in Tashkent city, and issues of further developing the multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Slovakia will be discussed.
Key areas of focus include trade, investment, and innovation, agriculture, industry, energy, and tourism sectors, with special attention given to expanding partnership. Issues of organized labor migration, cultural-humanitarian, and educational cooperation will be examined. International matters of significance, including support in multilateral forums, will also be exchanged.
At the conclusion of the leaders' meeting, documents aimed at developing mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Slovakia are expected to be signed.
As part of the visit, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico will also participate in the IV Tashkent International Investment Forum.
