At the conclusion of negotiations held in Tashkent city, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico signed a joint declaration on establishing Strategic Partnership relations. This was reported by the Presidential press service here.

During the presence of the leaders, bilateral documents were exchanged, namely:

  • on diplomatic personnel training;
  • on cooperation in the field of agriculture;
  • on cooperation in the field of standardization, metrology, and assessment of conformity of goods;
  • agreements on cooperation in the field of regulation of energy markets;
  • a cooperation program between the ministries of foreign affairs planned for 2025−2026;
  • a cooperation program in the field of standardization planned for 2025−2026 was exchanged.

Earlier, we reported that Uzbekistan and Slovakia agreed to increase trade turnover, localize automobile parts, launch major joint projects in the fields of tourism and pharmaceuticals.
