Uzbekistan's gold and foreign currency reserves amounted to 49.66 billion dollars as of the end of May 2025. This is reported by the Central Bank datahere.
This is a record high in the observations of the Central Bank since 2013to date.
Compared to April, reserves increased by 410.2 million dollars or by 0.83 percent. The increase in reserves has been ongoing for the fifth consecutive month. Since the beginning of the year, the increase amounted to 8.48 billion dollars (an increase of 20.6 percent).
The quantity of gold in reserves slightly decreased in physical volume, totaling 11.4 troy ounces (353.85 tons). However, due to the rise in the price of precious metals, its value increased by 2.2 million dollars, amounting to 37.65 billion dollars.
