We know that certain food products spoil very quickly in hot weather. Therefore, it is necessary to always eat in clean and tidy places and avoid consuming perishable products.
Do not consume homemade food and drinks such as ayran, apricot juice, etc., sold in markets, streets, and roadside stalls. Also, thoroughly wash fruits and vegetables before consuming them. Keep meat and dairy products only in the refrigerator.
Polluted water in swimming pools can lead to dangerous diseases like acute viral intestinal infections, hepatitis (A, E), dysentery, giardiasis, and others. Furthermore, swimming in open water bodies can lead to various skin diseases, inflammation of the mucous membranes of the nose, mouth, and ears.
Therefore, one should always swim in clean and disinfected artificial pools. The use of personal towels and swimming gear, and not sharing them with strangers is necessary.
Washing hands frequently with soap and antiseptic gels during the summer season helps keep the skin clean and free from harmful bacteria and viruses. Especially before and after eating, as well as upon returning home from outside, this habit should not be neglected.
The sweltering heat can cause bacteria to multiply on human skin. For this reason, taking frequent warm showers on hot days is beneficial for health.
After using public restrooms, one must definitely wash hands with soap. Or the use of antiseptic agents is recommended. Similarly, it is advisable to wash hands with soap after touching door handles and commonly used items in public places.
In hot weather, the body requires a lot of fluids. During such times, one must indeed consume clean and safe beverages. Particularly, drinking boiled or filtered clean water helps maintain the body's fluid balance.
Because the summer season is dry, dust and dirt quickly rise into the air. Therefore, keeping homes clean, controlling moisture, and ventilating the air regularly is very important. Cleaning door handles, tables, chairs, and other easily soiled places with disinfectants prevents various diseases.
In addition to this, adhering to personal space at the workplace, frequently changing the air in the room, and using air conditioners and fans correctly are very important for maintaining health.
