It is reported that on March 27, local citizens informed the police about the object, and its drone is said to have been found at a distance of 7 kilometers from Atyrau.
At the scene of the incident, an engine and broken pieces made of composite or carbon fiber material were identified.
The Police Department of Atyrau region confirmed the discovery of the object but did not clarify exactly what it is.
"Investigative work is being carried out together with the competent services. The object was found outside a populated area. All details of the incident are being studied," the police statement says.
