It was identified that a private enterprise in the Khorezm region has been using electricity inefficiently and irrationally without compensating for reactive power.
As a result of this violation, according to Article 45 of Law No. 940 of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a financial penalty of 41.7 million UZS was imposed.
For information, failure to comply with or violating the regulations for organizing works on reactive power compensation results in a penalty amounting to 50 percent of the value of the quantity of electricity wasted, as determined by devices or normative methods.
