Four villages in Zomin were flooded by a mudslide.

The Information Service of the Jizzakh Regional Department of Emergency Situations has officially commented on the situation related to the flood observed in the Zomin district of Jizzakh region. 

It is reported that on June 12, 2025, due to heavy rain in the Zomin district of Jizzakh region, flood flows were observed in the “Shirin” MCA (Yoyilma village), “Nihol” MCA, “Taraqqiyot” MCA (Hulqar village), and Turkman villages.

Flood waters brought stones and gravel onto some roads. The Emergency Situations Service quickly cleared the roads with the help of machinery and personnel, and movement was restored.

Houses of the population, social facilities, and property were not damaged.

Currently, 10 pieces of special equipment and 38 personnel are continuing to work on eliminating the consequences of the flood
