Earlier, a video spread on social media showing two individuals snatching a bag from a pedestrian and fleeing the scene, leading to various discussions. The Tashkent City Police Department officially commented on this incident.
It was reported that the incident took place on June 12 of this year, around 18:15, in the parking lot of a farmer's market in Shaykhontohur district, where B.S., born in 1997, and Kh.A., born in 2000, committed robbery against Kh.K., born in 2003, who was walking by, openly stealing a black bag and the money inside it, and fled the scene of the crime.
In regard to this incident, the Investigation Department of the Shaykhontohur District Police Department has initiated a criminal case under section 3, part "v" of Article 166 ("robbery") of the Criminal Code. The investigation is ongoing.
