A "Methane gas station" was discovered in the Andijan region illegally using natural gas worth 2.5 billion UZS. The Information Service of the Inspection for the Control of Electric Power, Petroleum Products, and Gas Usage under the Cabinet of Ministers reported this.
It was noted that an external influence was applied to the impulse tube of the gas metering device at the gas filling compressor station belonging to the “M. M. A.” LLC located in the Pakhtaobod district of the region.
As a result of this violation, it was found that the gas supply company suffered a loss of 2 billion 541 million UZS according to preliminary calculations.
“Currently, pre-investigation checks are being carried out by law enforcement agencies,” the report says.
