US President Donald Trump demanded the cessation of the court case against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He left this note on his Truth Social social network writing.
According to Trump, the charges against Netanyahu should be immediately dropped.
“I just heard that Netanyahu has been called to court. He has been enduring this terrible “show” since May 2020 – it is an unprecedented situation! This is related to cigarettes and many other unfair charges. The trial must be immediately dismissed or Netanyahu must be pardoned!” said Trump.
Moreover, Trump called Netanyahu one of his closest and most harmonious political partners.
“I believe I haven’t worked as cohesively with anyone as much as I have with Netanyahu. Just as the US saved Israel, it will now save Netanyahu”, said the White House leader.
