According to information from the Geo TV channel, as reported by Oxu.Az, the highest number of victims — 21 people — were recorded in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Further deaths were also recorded in the Sindh, Balochistan, and Punjab provinces.
Due to the heavy rains and storms, the risk of flooding may continue until at least Saturday. The inclement weather is damaging weak infrastructures, power transmission lines, advertising banners, vehicles, and solar panels.
Additionally, landslides occurring in mountainous areas have temporarily halted traffic in some areas.
