At the conclusion of the negotiations held in the city of Baku, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, accepted the decision of the second meeting of the High-Level Intergovernmental Council.
In the presence of the state leaders, a series of bilateral documents were exchanged, including:
- A "road map" for implementing the agreement on alliance relations for the years 2025-2029;
- An intergovernmental agreement on environmental protection cooperation;
- An intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the fields of science, vocational and higher education;
- An industrial cooperation program aimed for the years 2025-2026;
- A program to increase trade turnover to 1 billion dollars by the year 2030;
- A plan of practical actions for further development of cooperation in the field of agriculture and food supply for the years 2025-2027;
- A plan of measures for cooperation in the field of social protection for the years 2025-2027;
- A memorandum on cooperation in the fields of shipping and shipbuilding;
- Agreements on establishing brotherhood relations between the Tashkent region and the city of Sumgait, and between the cities of Navoi and Gabala.
