One of the most influential yet publically unnoticed figures in the administration of US President Donald Trump — Sergio Gor, was revealed to be originally born in Tashkent. This was reported by OCCRP and Times of Malta, based on official notarial documents.

Sergio Gor, born in Tashkent on November 30, 1986, was originally named Sergey Gorokhovskiy. This name has still been preserved in some official documents, including those related to his house in Kospicua, Malta, which he bought for 255,000 euros in 2021.

A secret kept for years

The exact birthplace of Sergio Gor has been kept a secret for a long time. Even in December 2024, when The Washington Post called him Trump's "new personnel policy's influential but invisible architect," it couldn't provide exact information about his homeland. Although some sources described him as an "immigrant from Malta," these claims were not supported by any documents.

Reliable sources have now revealed that Gor spent part of his childhood in Malta and studied at De La Salle College there from 1996 to 1999. The school archives have also confirmed his date of birth.

From Tashkent to Washington

Sergio Gor moved to the US in his childhood. His mother acquired Israeli citizenship and established a company in Malta in 1994. It was through this company that property was purchased, and later, this house was passed on to Sergio Gor.

Gor began his political career in the US, initially working with Senator Rand Paul. In 2020, he managed Donald Trump's "Victory Finance Committee." He also laid the foundation for the Winning Team Publishing, a publishing house close to the Trump family.

Connections with Russia: Suspicious trips?

According to OCCRP sources, Sergio Gor traveled to Russia several times. In 2018, he was in Moscow with Senator Rand Paul on an initiative by the Cato Institute. Additionally, in 2017, he reportedly flew to Moscow via "Aeroflot" and left for Rome the next day.

However, his attorney, Robert Garson, has denied these claims, stating, "It was just a transit trip. There were no official meetings in Moscow. These accusations are false and defamatory," he explained.

Who is Sergio Gor?

Despite being away from the public eye, Sergio Gor plays a significant role in US politics. His journey that began in Tashkent now extends to the power centers in Washington. Today, journalists are gradually uncovering his mysterious past and political influence.
