“Pew Research Center” conducted a global survey revealing that the majority of the world's population sees Russia, China, and the USA as the greatest threats. Nearly 32,000 respondents from 25 countries participated in this survey, excluding citizens of Russia and Ukraine.

According to the study, especially in European countries, negative attitudes towards Russia have intensified. For example:

— 81 percent of Poles,

— 77 percent of Swedes,

— 59 percent of Germans,

—57 percent of Dutch consider Russia the primary threat.

In Spain, however, respondents were equally concerned about Russia and the USA as threats. In Greece, the majority (74 percent) identified Turkey as the main threat.

The survey results also indicate an increased negative attitude towards the USA, including:

 — Among the population of Mexico, 68 percent,

— Canada – 59 percent,

— Brazil and Argentina – both 24 percent consider the USA a threat.

Notably, in Canada, the number of people who consider the USA a threat has tripled compared to 2019. Experts link this situation with Donald Trump's potential return to the White House.
