On July 19 of this year, a baby was born during a flight on the Istanbul — Tashkent route operated by Uzbekistan Airways. This was reported by Qizlarkhon Khojayeva, head of the press service of Uzbekistan Airways.
According to the information provided, one of the passengers went into premature labor during the flight. Two doctors on board quickly provided the necessary medical assistance in cooperation with the crew.
By the decision of the aircraft commander, the plane made an emergency landing at Urgench Airport, where medical staff met the mother and the newborn baby boy.
