According to the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs, officers of the criminal investigation department conducted a special operational measure to stage the woman's death in order to save her life. The victim's cooperation and the pre-planned measure played a crucial role in this process.
The person hired to kill the woman had previously been placed under the supervision of internal affairs agencies based on operational information and subsequently cooperated with law enforcement authorities.
After this, during the operational measure conducted on April 20, the hired killer met with the client and informed him that his spouse had been killed. Upon hearing this news, the man handed over 6.5 million soms and a black Tracker vehicle registered in the victim's name as part of the remaining payment, at which point he was apprehended with material evidence.
Currently, the district prosecutor's office has initiated a criminal case against the suspect under Article 97 of the Criminal Code regarding this incident. A pre-trial detention measure has been applied to him, and investigative actions are ongoing.
On January 27, 2026, the commission of a contract murder crime was prevented in Samarkand region. During operational measures conducted by law enforcement agencies, individuals who had planned to kill their acquaintance were apprehended.
