In the city of Nukus, Karakalpakstan, a man fully prepaid the alimony for his child. The Nukus city DIA reported this.
According to the report, the man expressed his desire to prepay the alimony payments that he would have been obligated to pay until the child reaches 18 years of age.
The debtor was informed that, in accordance with Resolution No. 808 of the Cabinet of Ministers, it is possible to prepay the alimony payments required until the child comes of age. The alimony payments for the next 13 years were calculated. It was noted that the amount totaled 2 billion 270 million 812 thousand soums.
Afterward, the woman receiving the alimony came to the Nukus city DIA department and confirmed that she had received over 2 billion soums from her ex-husband as calculated.
For reference, this amount is currently the largest prepayment in the history of the DIA.
