According to the Consulate General, on August 9 of this year, the body of J.M., a 22-year-old citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan who died while attempting to rescue a drowning Ukrainian girl at Kavatsite Beach in the Bulgarian city of Sozopol, was recovered by the rescue services of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Bulgaria from among large underwater rocks.
Currently, the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, in cooperation with the Honorary Consulate in Bulgaria, is taking the necessary measures to repatriate the deceased's body to Uzbekistan.
Taking this opportunity, the Consulate General once again expresses its deepest condolences to the family members and loved ones of the deceased, the report states.
