"According to the analytical document titled 'Entrepreneurship, Technology Implementation, and Accelerating Growth Through Innovations,' Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Tajikistan could achieve high-income country status within 100 years at their current growth rates."

For comparison, Kazakhstan is projected to reach this milestone in 30 years, Turkmenistan in 28 years, while Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine are forecasted to approach it in 70 years.

Current status: In 2024, Uzbekistan's GDP per capita is $3,092.

Economist Mirkomil Kholboev's analysis: Considering the economic growth of the last four years, Uzbekistan could join the ranks of high-income countries by 2042.

GDP growth projections (World Bank forecasts for 2025–2026): – Uzbekistan: 5.9% – First half of 2024: 7.2% growth recorded

The mystery behind the numbers: – The report is based on 10-year average indicators – The decline during the pandemic period significantly impacted these projections

Uzbekistan's economy is growing, but achieving high-income country status requires stable and accelerated growth, as well as widespread implementation of innovations and technologies.
