A cyberattack on the drinking water and sewage system in one of Poland's largest cities was "resolved in the last minutes." This was announced by the country's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs, Krzysztof Gawkowski.

However, he did not disclose the name of the city or the details of the attack.

According to the minister, Poland's infrastructure faces 60–70 thousand cyberattacks per month, and the number of attacks has increased since the beginning of this year.

Officials stated that they have been successful in stopping 99 percent of such attacks.

Representatives of the National Prosecutor's Office indicated Russia as the primary source of these attacks.
